Andersen is hiring a Data Product Lead for a project building a governed, scalable data platform with near real-time capabilities to improve data transparency, insights, and operational efficiency.
The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients. The company operates through an established service network and online platforms and is part of a larger international financial group, supporting ongoing development of its services for a broad client base.
The project is focused on transforming the bank’s fragmented data landscape into a governed, scalable data platform with near real-time capabilities. It introduces a data product–driven approach and strong governance practices to improve customer insights, operational efficiency, and data transparency across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Prioritizing initiatives to maximize ROI and business impact.
- Leading the end-to-end product lifecycle – from discovery and specification to launch and iteration.
- Translating business objectives into clear requirements for engineering and analytics teams.
- Partnering with senior leaders across the organization to understand priorities, align expectations, and secure buy-in.
- Facilitating workshops and roadmap reviews to drive shared understanding.
- Defining success metrics and KPIs for data products.
- Monitoring adoption, analyzing user behavior (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA), and driving iterative improvements based on data insights.
- Collaborating with data engineering to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance standards, maintaining user trust in delivered insights.
- Driving product adoption through documentation, training, and self-service enablement, empowering business users to make data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in data product management, product analytics, or a related field for 7+ years, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that create business value.
- Experience in the fintech domain.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
- Strong understanding of data governance in regulated environments, including standards such as BCBS239 and GDPR.
- Experience building data products within banking compliance contexts.
- Practical experience working with regulated banking data platforms, where governance and compliance are core design principles.
- Deep experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, DataLens, QlikView).
- Strong experience with product analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to track user behavior and product performance.
- Understanding of the modern data stack, including cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift) and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Hands-on experience using Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data analysis and validation is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to translate business strategy into product requirements and define KPIs that tie directly to business outcomes (revenue, retention, efficiency).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical audiences and drive alignment.
- Familiarity with hypothesis formulation, A/B testing, and outcome evaluation to validate product decisions.
- Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
