Summary

Andersen is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the launch of a payment processing platform, ensuring compliance with PCI DSS and coordinating technical, security, and operational teams.

The customer is a global corporate travel payment solution owned and operated by the world’s leading airlines. Its network includes major carriers that issue charge cards accepted by thousands of travel-related merchants worldwide, covering air, rail, cruise, and agency payments. The platform also enables airlines to accept multiple payment methods, including alternatives, via integrated processing partners within the customer’s network.

The project is focused on ensuring the production readiness and successful launch of a payment processing platform. This includes coordinating technical, security, and operational teams to align with compliance standards, specifically PCI DSS, and ensure all infrastructure and operational setups are in place for a smooth go-live.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the Production Readiness program for a payment platform prior to go-live.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams (architecture, DevOps, security, QA, operations).
  • Tracking readiness across infrastructure, compliance, observability, DR, and operational processes.
  • Ensuring alignment with PCI DSS controls and audit preparation activities.
  • Managing delivery milestones, risks, dependencies, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Facilitating readiness reviews, launch checkpoints, and go-live planning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Project Manager / Delivery Manager in complex IT or fintech projects for 4+ years.
  • Experience working with fixed-price contracts.
  • Understanding of payment systems, payment gateways, or payment processing platforms.
  • Practical experience working with PCI DSS environments or compliance projects.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and manage cross-domain dependencies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

  • Experience managing production launch / go-live programs for payment or fintech platforms is a strong advantage.
