Junior System Analyst

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Junior System Analyst for a project developing and enhancing corporate banking features within an online platform, ensuring reliable and efficient digital financial services.

The customer is a modern digital bank operating in Central Asia, providing a full range of financial services for individuals and businesses through mobile and online platforms. The institution focuses on simplifying everyday banking with user-friendly digital tools, 24/7 support, and innovative payment solutions. It is recognized for its strong contribution to the development of digital banking in the region, continuous technological advancement, and commitment to enhancing customer experience through automation and service accessibility.

The project is focused on developing and enhancing corporate banking functionalities within an online banking platform. It includes implementing new features as well as maintaining and improving existing solutions to ensure reliable and efficient digital services.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, formalizing, and validating project requirements.
• Interacting with various stakeholders (business units, IT departments, external and internal partners).
• Analyzing and modeling business processes.
• Describing AS-IS and TO-BE business processes using BPMN notation.
• Describing user scenarios (use cases).
• Defining acceptance criteria.
• Creating sequence diagrams during solution design (UML).
• Writing technical documentation (technical specifications, effort estimation, defining timelines).
• Describing integrations between systems (APIs, data, events).
• Maintaining and updating documentation for evolving systems and the knowledge base.
• Creating and assigning tasks to developers.
• Providing analytical and organizational support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participating in product backlog formation.

Requirements

• Experience in system analysis for 1+ years.
• Experience in the fintech domain.
• Ability to create technical documentation (technical specifications, integration descriptions, etc.).
• Knowledge of requirement description techniques: Use Case, User Story, BPMN, UML (class, component, sequence diagram), ERD.
• SQL skills, including writing queries across multiple tables with aggregation, sorting, joins, and understanding indexing.
• Understanding of data normalization principles.
• Understanding of REST and JSON format.
• Experience working with SOAP integrations and knowledge of XML format.
• Understanding of API tools (Swagger, Postman).
• Understanding of and experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience working with Jira and Confluence (Swagger and Curl are a plus).
• Experience with client-server applications and knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Strong information handling skills (searching, processing, structuring, visualizing, validating, presenting results).
• Strong communication skills for gathering requirements, building processes, and creating documentation.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
