Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer for a project building secure, scalable infrastructure for financial systems, supporting payments, digital banking, and high-load integrations.
The customer is an international technology company developing integrated digital solutions for retail and service businesses. It provides a unified platform combining hardware, backend systems, and cloud services to support payments, sales, inventory, and analytics. The platform operates high-load systems processing large volumes of real-time transactions, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, security, and seamless integration with financial and third-party services.
The project is focused on building and maintaining a reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure for a financial services ecosystem, covering both cloud and on-premise environments. It supports digital banking solutions, payment systems, and integrations, enabling efficient operations and driving digital transformation in the financial sector.
Responsibilities
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI / GitHub Actions).
- Managing infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Configuring and monitoring Kubernetes clusters (on-premise and/or cloud).
- Ensuring security: secrets management, network policies, auditing, compliance.
- Implementing observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, distributed tracing.
- Automating backups, disaster recovery, and scaling.
Requirements
- Experience in DevOps/SRE for 4+ years, including 3+ years with Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
- Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience working with Docker, Helm, Istio/Linkerd, PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, zero-trust, and compliance principles.
- Skills in incident diagnosis and conducting post-mortems.
- Level of English – from Intermediate and above.
Desired skills
- Experience in regulated industries: fintech, fiscal systems, public sector.
- Knowledge of personal data protection and localization legislation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architecture.
