Andersen is hiring a Business/Functional Analyst for a project enhancing a ride-hailing platform, improving core features, scalability, and user experience.
The customer is an international mobility service provider offering a peer-to-peer model that allows users to negotiate travel conditions directly within the app. With a large global user base and operations spanning numerous cities worldwide, the organization is recognized for its focus on flexibility, accessibility, and the adaptation of its platform to diverse market environments.
The project is focused on developing and enhancing product solutions within a ride-hailing platform. The teams work on improving core features, scalability, and user experience across the service ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Gathering, structuring, and documenting business and functional requirements; producing detailed functional specifications with a high degree of precision (validation rules, state transitions, error handling, input/output contracts).
- Mapping "as-is" and "to-be" user flows; identifying gaps, edge cases, and dependencies to ensure completeness of requirements.
- Maintaining structured documentation (Confluence, specs, diagrams) and ensuring traceability of requirements and decisions.
- Facilitating cross-team alignment by clarifying scope, resolving ambiguities, and supporting communication between product and engineering stakeholders.
- Defining and maintaining acceptance test scenarios and expected behaviors; participate in testing and UAT to validate that implementation matches requirements.
- Proactively identifying risks, inconsistencies, and scope gaps in requirements; escalating and facilitating resolution.
Requirements
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a technical product environment for 4+ years.
- Experience working with integration-heavy products.
- Ability to read and reason for technical documentation, sequence diagrams, and architecture specs.
- Familiarity with mobile application ecosystems.
- Exceptional ability to write precise, structured, and unambiguous specifications and functional documentation.
- Experience with flow mapping and process modeling (BPMN, UML, or equivalent notation).
- Experience defining acceptance criteria and participating in the UAT.
- Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (Confluence, Jira, or equivalent).
- Strong communication skills — ability to bridge product and engineering, clarify ambiguities, and maintain alignment across teams.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices (discovery, refinement, decomposition, sprint planning).
- Familiarity with design handoff tools (Figma).
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Desired skills
- Experience working in the role of Product Owner.
- Experience with system analysis: producing technical specifications, documenting APIs, data flows, and system interaction scenarios.
- Experience working with identity management systems and SSO solutions.
- Experience documenting payment integration flows.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude) for documentation, analysis, or requirements of workflows.
