Summary

Andersen is hiring an Android Developer (Kotlin) in Kazakhstan for a project developing a next-generation banking platform and new mobile app on microservices architecture.

The project is focused on developing a next-generation banking platform built on microservices architecture. It is in an active phase of development and growth, aimed at attracting new clients, launching a new mobile application, and migrating users to the new solution.

Responsibilities

• Developing and enhancing new and existing products.
• Optimizing application performance.
• Integrating with external APIs.
• Testing and documenting code.
• Collaborating with the team on tasks.
• Learning new technologies and continuously improving personal expertise.
• Participating in all team activities.
• Following documented processes.
• Taking ownership of the team’s technical tasks and conducting code reviews.
• Participating in architectural decision-making.
• Independently decomposing tasks, estimating efforts, and participating in planning.
• Participating in code reviews and mentoring.

Requirements

• Experience in mobile development for 3+ years.
• Experience in the fintech domain.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin, including advanced language features.
• Experience working with Clean Architecture, as well as MVI and Redux/TEA architectural approaches.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Coroutines and Flow.
• Knowledge and practical application of design patterns.
• Experience developing UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Experience working with GitLab CI/CD or similar automation tools.
• Understanding of mobile application performance optimization principles.
• Experience in team-based development and understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to initiate and drive processes.
• Readiness to make architectural decisions and propose improvements within current projects.
• Openness to feedback and constructive criticism.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
