Summary

Andersen is hiring a SF Engineer (Commerce Cloud) for a project developing B2B commerce solutions, improving ordering flows, self-service features, and partner integrations.

The customer is an international company specializing in technology consulting and business process improvement. The company helps organizations enhance operational efficiency, optimize workflows, and support digital transformation initiatives through modern technology solutions, system integrations, and process automation across various business domains.

The project is focused on developing and supporting B2B digital commerce solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. It includes implementing buyer-facing transactional experiences, account-based access, ordering flows, self-service functionality, and scalable integrations to enhance partner and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing and customizing Commerce Cloud B2B capabilities for buyer account journeys, catalog access, product discovery, and transactional flows.
  • Supporting account-based commerce scenarios, including organization structures, roles, permissions, and customer-specific access to products, pricing, and ordering processes.
  • Building and enhancing self-service capabilities for business customers, partners, or organizations interacting with the platform.
  • Integrating Commerce Cloud B2B experiences with Salesforce backend processes such as request intake, approvals, contracting, booking/order creation, fulfillment, and account management.
  • Supporting secure authenticated experiences for external organizations, including access control, buyer-specific views, and transactional transparency.
  • Working on storefront and portal customizations aligned with complex B2B business rules and process dependencies.
  • Collaborating with the Tech Lead and adjacent Salesforce developers to ensure consistent end-to-end process execution across commerce, sales, and operations domains.

Requirements

  • Strong development background on the Salesforce platform for 3+ years.
  • Experience building and customizing Salesforce solutions in a developer role (not only administrative or consulting roles).
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Experience with B2B Commerce or implementation of complex B2B digital commerce solutions.
  • Understanding of B2B commerce models and processes.
  • Experience with account-based structures and buyer hierarchies.
  • Experience managing roles, permissions, and access control.
  • Understanding of customer-specific catalogs, pricing, and ordering processes.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce solutions with backend systems.
  • Experience working with APIs, including REST and SOAP.
  • Experience integrating commerce platforms with order management, contracting, fulfillment, and billing processes.
  • Full-stack Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience with backend development using Apex and business logic implementation.
  • Experience with frontend customization, including storefronts and portals.
  • Ability to design and support secure authenticated experiences for external users.
  • Understanding of data visibility and secure access management principles.
  • Ability to work in complex, process-driven environments.
  • Understanding of commerce flows integrated with sales, operations, and post-order business processes.
  • Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

  • Deeper expertise with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and advanced B2B setups.
  • Experience with self-service portals on Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of product catalog management and pricing strategies.
  • Experience working with industry-specific solutions, including manufacturing or wholesale domains.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce solutions with external systems, including ERP platforms and payment providers.
