Power Automate / Azure Automation Specialist

Summary

Andersen is hiring a Power Automate / Azure Automation Specialist for a project automating business processes and improving operational efficiency through cloud-based solutions.

The customer is a large international business group with a diversified portfolio and a long-standing market presence. The company operates across multiple industries and focuses on developing sustainable business solutions, maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions. The project is focused on automating finance operations across multiple business entities using Microsoft Azure and Power Platform technologies. It includes designing and implementing reliable workflows that improve process efficiency, reduce manual effort, and provide secure, auditable automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and supporting workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
• Automating finance processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, approvals, reconciliations, data validation, notifications, and reporting workflows.
• Integrating Power Automate with Azure services, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, APIs, and finance systems.
• Building human-in-the-loop approval flows with clear audit trails.
• Working directly with business users to understand current processes and translate them into automation workflows.
• Supporting testing, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of automation flows.
• Implementing proper exception handling, notifications, and support logic.
• Documenting automation logic, dependencies, exceptions, and support procedures.
• Collaborating with finance, IT, and delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and adoption.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate for 3+ years.
• Good understanding of the Microsoft Azure technology stack, including APIs, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, SQL, and integration services.
• Experience automating finance or back-office processes.
• Ability to work with structured data from Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, ERP outputs, or similar sources.
• Experience building approval flows, notifications, validations, and exception handling logic.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business processes into clear automation workflows.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP.
• Knowledge of Power Apps.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience with governance, permissions, and security within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Experience working with finance teams or holding/group-level business structures.
