Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) in the EU for a project modernizing a digital platform and improving performance, scalability, and user experience.

The customer is a large international organization that develops and operates digital products and platforms serving a broad user base. The company focuses on delivering reliable, scalable, and user-centric solutions while continuously investing in technology, process optimization, and product innovation. The project is focused on modernizing a price comparison platform that collects, aggregates, and presents utility service rates from multiple providers. It includes enhancing platform performance, scalability, and user experience to help customers compare offers and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Angular-based frontend applications using best practices and reactive programming.
• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Collaborating with designers to translate Figma designs into functional UI components.
• Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and cloud-native deployments.
• Working with databases, caching layers, and search systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Configuring and monitoring application health using observability tools.
• Participating in system architecture design, technical documentation, and decision-making.
• Conducting and taking part in code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile setup.
• Continuously improving system performance and contributing to modernization of legacy systems.
• Exploring and adopting AI tools and features to improve developmenting productivity and product capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience in Frontend development for 2+ years.
• Strong Full-Stack or Frontend-focused Engineer with deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Reactive Forms.
• Solid experience in designing and developing REST APIs and working with modern backend technologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), caching (Redis, Memcached) and search (Elasticsearch).
• Familiar with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Open to using AI-powered development tools and potentially integrating AI features into products.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Desired skills

• Experience with NestJS/Node.js development and related backend technologies.
• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure cloud services.
• Experience implementing UI designs from Figma and developing reusable web components with StencilJS.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Karma.
• Experience with either PHP or C# development.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments and participating in code reviews.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems, optimizing application performance, and improving scalability.
• Experience creating technical and architectural documentation, diagrams, and design artifacts.
• Experience using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) to enhance productivity.
• Experience integrating AI-powered features into user-facing products, such as chatbots, recommendation systems, AI search, and natural language interfaces.
