Summary

Andersen is hiring a Frontend Developer (Angular) for a project developing high-traffic web applications and scalable digital platforms using modern frontend technologies.

The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.

The project is focused on developing and evolving high-traffic web applications built with a modern micro-frontend architecture. It involves creating scalable single-page applications, driving architectural improvements, enhancing code quality, and leveraging modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development tools, to accelerate delivery and innovation.

The position assumes 09:00 to 18:00 EST work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, building, and maintaining scalable front-end applications in the Angular ecosystem.
  • Contributing to a micro-frontend architecture (Native Federation), including shared dependencies, independently deployable remotes, and integration between host and remote applications.
  • Developing and maintaining shared component libraries and design systems used across teams.
  • Leading and supporting framework migrations and modernization of legacy codebases.
  • Building complex, data-sensitive features such as multi-step forms with dynamic validation.
  • Driving front-end performance optimization (lazy loading, change detection strategy, bundle splitting).
  • Using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality and standards.
  • Collaborating with back-end developers and designers on API contracts and UI requirements.
  • Participating in code reviews, mentor developers, and support onboarding and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Commercial front-end development experience for 3+ years.
  • Strong expertise in Angular (recent versions), TypeScript, and RxJS.
  • Solid understanding of state management (NgRx, Signals) and component-driven development.
  • Experience with shared component libraries / design systems (e.g. Storybook).
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude, GitHub Copilot) in day-to-day work.
  • Understanding of performance optimization, testing, and code quality practices.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and owning features end-to-end.

Desired skills

  • Hands-on experience with Angular Signals, micro-frontend architectures (Native Federation or Module Federation), and Nx or similar monorepo tooling (strong beneficial).
  • Experience in fintech or other regulated / high-load domains.
  • Internationalization (i18n) experience.
  • Experience with Azure (e.g. App Service, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, hosting/deployment).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and integrating front-end applications with microservice-based back-ends.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, GitFlow, and observability tooling (e.g. Sentry).
  • Back-end exposure (Node.js, .NET) for cross-team collaboration.
